Frachon Benoit

(born May 13, 1893 in Chambon-Feugerolles , died. August 1, 1975) - French Communist, trade unionist, activ ist resistance. He was born in a mining family and the age of thi rteen he worked in a metallurgical plant. Early because of sixtee n, enrolled in the CGT trade union. From 1909 he was involved in leftist activities, participating in demonstrations in 1910 in a big, ponadmiesięcznym strike, which took part in a large proportion of the inhabitants of Saint-Etienne, and which culminated in a confrontation with the army of protesters.
